About
Raised in Sierra Vista, Mrs. Grinde started her career as an office manager to her mother’s secretarial services and later joined her father at the local newspaper where she worked in advertising and collections, both of these positions established a connection with Wick Communications in Sierra Vista. Throughout her career, Mrs. Grinde worked for Perlin Advertising and VoiceTrak, a national advertising research company out of Tucson Arizona. It was in 2013 when Mrs. Grinde returned ‘home’ to Sierra Vista to once again, engage with family and community. Working in retail at Dillards and then established her community services while employed the University South Foundation as Director of Operations.
Today, Ms. Grinde serves as the Executive Assistant at Wick Communications home office in Sierra Vista and continues to be inspired by the community togetherness and support in her community. She is serving her second term on the Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is leading a dynamic team of Ambassadors to support local businesses through the Chamber.
Wendee and her husband, Gene, like to explore ‘dirt roads’ and often take off on many adventures throughout Southern Arizona. They share laughter and love with their 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
