About

Ana Smith is the Manager at the Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning. She has worked in continuing education since 2008, and in the education field for more than three decades. What Ana loves most about her job is interaction with instructors, clients, and the community. She is passionate about lifelong learning and about bringing educational opportunities to Cochise County residents. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wayland Baptist University and has continued her education in the areas of continuing education, cybersecurity, and program planning and operations.

In addition to education, volunteering is Ana’s passion. She volunteers for the Sierra Vista Tourism Commission, the Nancy Brua Animal Shelter, and the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce as a Chamber Ambassador and Sierra Vista Leadership committee member. Her interests are many among them cybersecurity, music, art, reading, languages, psychology, animals, nature, and of course lifelong learning.


Fun Fact

The Center for Lifelong Learning Brown Bag Lecture Series has provided free lifelong learning opportunities to an average of 592 citizens a year from 2017 to the spring of 2021.
