About

My name is Mellisa Daar; call me Mel.

I am a Legal Assistant with Williams Melo Law, PLC, and I have been for 4.5 years. After only a few months of working with exceptional employers and colleagues, the decision was easy for my husband and I to retire in Cochise County so I may continue to enjoy my career at the law firm. Being a Military spouse, I have had the opportunity to experience living, working, and volunteering in many amazing places. I have been an FRG (Family Readiness Group) Treasurer, FRG Leader, and Casualty/Fatality Ambassador for spouses and family members, and I have led military community fundraisers.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and now reside in Hereford, Arizona. I have been happily married for over twenty-three years to Brandon Daar, who recently retired from the US Army. We have two lovely children and three grandchildren, with a fourth precious bundle of joy on the way.

My hobbies are anything and everything that brings joy and happiness to me and the people around me. I love weekend getaways, hiking, shopping, fundraisers, volunteering, and eating everything that doesn't eat me first. I am excited to become an Ambassador for the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce, an incredible platform allowing me to continue supporting and volunteering in our beautiful community.
