About

Melany Edwards-Barton has over 20 years of business leadership experience in non-profits, for-profits, and volunteer organizations. In 2008 she obtained her Associate’s in Business Administration through Cochise College. In 2009 Melany attended NAU on a full-tuition merit scholarship and obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2010, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2011 Melany obtained her Real Estate License and went to work at Haymore Real Estate, LLC. In 2019 Melany was hired as the Chief Executive Officer of the Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce [Sky Islands Regional Partnership] after spending years as a member, Co-chair of the Military Affairs Committee, and as a Board Member. Melany is a Gold Star wife and has lived and worked in Cochise County for over 20 years. She is the mother of one amazing daughter and grandmother to the three wonderful granddaughters.
